Clickbooth Review I tried to review Clickbooth both for affiliates and for vendors. Our first three attempts to sign up as an affiliate were ignored. Our attempt to sign up as a vendor resulted in dozens of harassing telephone calls and spam. We had to change both our telephone number and our email address to stop the harassment. We do NOT recommend Clickbooth for either affiliates or vendors. We strongly recommend against giving them anything other than a throwaway email address if you decide to give them a try... which we don't recommend. During the harassment, they did reveal the kinds of offers they specialize in. According to their telephone sales force they don't accept any legitimate offers into their network. They focus on the kinds of "free trial" and forced continuity offers that resulted in the recent FTC crackdown. When they get an application for a legitimate offer, they don't just reject it. They turn on their sales force to repeatedly call and email the applicant. Be careful out there. Just because a network has decent Alexa rankings doesn't mean they are legitimate. They may specialize in scam offers. |
